Planned Giving

Leave a Legacy of Good Health

A planned gift can take many forms, but they all make a difference in people's lives, now and in the future. Planned Giving has become a popular option in donating to charitable organizations. It offers a donor the opportunity to give to his or her favorite charity while realizing significant financial gains and can be a benefit to both your needs and the goals of the charity.

Bequests
The simplest form of a planned gift is a bequest. Including The Children's Health Fund in your will is a way to carry your dreams and hopes into the future, while caring for our neediest children.

Sample language for a bequest is:
"I give and bequeath to The Children's Health Fund, 215 West 125th Street, Suite 301, New York, NY 10027 the sum of $---------- [or all/or-------% of the remainder of my estate]. The Board of Directors may use the income or principal of this bequest for whatever purpose they deem advisable."

Charitable Lead Trusts
This is a trust agreement in which the income from the trust flows to a charitable organization, such as The Children’s Health Fund, for a stated number of years. After that period, the assets in the trust are redistributed to the donor or his or her family; the program also offers donors significant tax advantages.

Leave a Legacy of Good Health

If you are interested in learning more about a Charitable Lead Trust, making a bequest, or other planned giving opportunities, please contact the Development Department at (212) 452-3340 or send an inquiry to dev@childrenshealthfund.org
